The reason synthetic peptides need to be injected is because they’re very unstable and the strength of the bond is weak (because it’s synthetic). 

Bioactive (meaning from nature — animal or plant. In our case it’s plant) is different in that the bond is very strong and can survive the digestive tract. Part of the testing these go through are lab tests that mimic the digestive tract.

An example of this is when someone takes testosterone, the body starts relying on it and STOPS making its own (feedback loop).
